A Flight Dispatcher, proudly referred to as “the Captain on ground”, is one of the Prestigious positions in the Aviation industry.
He/She is equally responsible as a Pilot, for Safe and efficient operation of Aircraft as well as the Airline.
He/She plans the Route of the flight, Weather systems, Fuel considerations, Weight and Balance of the aircraft.
Radio Telephony Restricted Licence, issued by Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing of India, is one of a Prerequisite for many positions in the Aviation industry.
Radio Telephony Examination is conducted six times in a year at Major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
By holding this Licence, the candidate is Eligible to become a Pilot, Flight Dispatcher, Air Traffic Controller etc.
The course provides the Technical knowledge required to clear the Radio telephony examination as well as to become a Professional Flight Dispatcher.
By attending the course, one can acquire the Knowledge of how Aircrafts fly, Rules involved in Air travel, Weather systems and much more.
Education – Minimum 12th / 10+2 / with Science background (Maths, Physics and Chemistry)
Commerce Background – candidates who are interested in attending the course, should clear NIOS exams(not a prerequisite to the course)
Age Limit – Minimum Age 19
After a successful year, the candidate will be promoted to Flight Dispatcher and the Salary ranges from 60k to more than a Lakh, depending on the Individual’s performance.
Salary for an Asst. Dispatcher would be 25k to 35k depending on the airline.
Course covers Meteorology, Navigation, Air regulations, Flight planning, Weight and Balance etc.
Upon successful clearing of Exams and Airline interview, the Candidate would join as an Assistant Flight Dispatcher.
About 80 percent of Pilot theory exams are covered in this course, hence it is also beneficial for Pilot aspirants.
*Accommodation is available for boys and girls in separate Hostels.
*The Candidates may make a choice of a particular hostel in consultation with Academy Authorities.
*However, the Hostel chosen must be there in the approved list of the Academy Authorities.
*Candidates are requested to pay the hostel fee directly at the hostel.
*Inmates must follow the rules and regulations of the Hostel.
